Podgorica, Montenegro

Montenegro is a country in Southeastern Europe. Crna Gora, sometimes transliterated as Tsrna Gora ("Black Mountain"), is used to denote a larger part of Montenegro in the 15th century. Montenegro has both a picturesque coast and a mountainous northern region and was also listed in "10 Top Hot Spots of 2009" to visit by Yahoo Travel, describing it as "Currently ranked as the second fastest growing tourism market in the world (falling just behind China)". It is listed every year by prestigious tourism guides like Lonely Planet as top touristic destination along with Greece, Spain and other world touristic places.

Podgorica is the capital and largest city of Montenegro. The name Podgorica means "under the Gorica" in Montenegrin language and Gorica means "little hill" or hillock, which is the name of the cypress-covered hill that overlooks the city center. The Podgorica municipality contains 10.4% of Montenegro's territory and 29.9% of its population. It is the administrative center of Montenegro and its economic, cultural and educational focus.

Thanks Ivana for sending me this from Montenegro. Because of your strongly recommendation, I think I shall add Montenegro into my travel list. Hope I can visit there some day!
