Burg Eltz, Germany

Germany is a federal parliamentary republic in western-central Europe. The country consists of 16 states, and its capital and largest city is Berlin. The country is situated in between the oceanic Western European and the continental Eastern European climate. Most of Germany has a temperate seasonal climate in which humid westerly winds predominate.
Germany's achievements in the sciences have been significant, and research and development efforts form an integral part of the economy. The Nobel Prize has been awarded to 103 German laureates. It is also one of the leading countries in developing and using green technologies.

Burg Eltz is a medieval castle nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany. It is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century, 33 generations ago.  Only a very rich medieval European lord could afford to build a castle on his land.
