Sibebe Rock, Swaziland

Swaziland, officially the Kingdom of Swaziland, is a landlocked country in southern Africa, bordered to the north, south and west by South Africa, and to the east by Mozambique. The nation, as well as its people, are named after the 19th century king Mswati II.
Swaziland also offers a wide variety of landscapes, from the mountains along the Mozambican border to savannas in the east and rain forest in the northwest. The climate is temperate in the west, but may reach 40 °C  in summer in the lowveld. Winter is the dry season. Rainfall occurs mainly in the summer and may reach 2 meters in the west.

Sibebe is a granite mountain in Swaziland, located 10 km northeast of the capital city Mbabane. It is the second-largest monolith in the world (first-largest is Ayers Rock), rising 350m above the valley of the Mbuluzi River.  It is also known as 'Bald Rock'. Much of the rock is completely sheer, and dangerous if you should fall, but it’s a good adrenaline charge if you’re reasonably fit and relish looking down steep rock-faces.

A self-made postcard from a faraway country in Africa. Thanks to my friend, Lance, who is a heart devoted dentist and also work there as a volunteer. I am so envious of his savanna life in Africa sometimes, but he always said he also feels envious of my beach life in Nauru. I think that 's our destinies!
