Singapore II

Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a Southeast Asian island city-state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 137 km north of the equator. The country is highly urbanised with very little primary rainforest remaining, although more land is being created for development through land reclamation.

Singapore embrace highly diversity, including ethnicities, religions and foods. Especially foods, the focus on food has led countries like Australia to attract Singaporean tourists with food-based itineraries. The diversity of food is touted as a reason to visit the country, and the variety of food representing different ethnicities is seen by the government as a symbol of its multiculturalism. The "national fruit" of Singapore is the durian.

A great card from Singapore, also known as "Garden City" and "Lion City". I've been there once for a short visit, and I love this country for sightseeing, such as foods and night life. Hope the next time will coming soon. Cheers! Hock Peng.
