Mili atoll, Marshall Islands

The Marshall Islands is an island country located in the northern Pacific Ocean. The country is part of the larger island group of Micronesia, with the population of 68,480 people spread out over 34 low-lying coral atolls, comprising 1,156 individual islands and islets. 
Marshall Islands is a presidential republic in free association with the United States, with the US providing defense, funding grants, and access to social services. Having few natural resources, the islands' wealth is based on a service economy, as well as some fishing and agriculture, with a large percentage of the islands' gross domestic product coming from United States aid.


    




Mili Atoll  is a coral atoll of 92 islands in the Pacific Ocean, and forms a legislative district of the Ratak Chain of the Marshall Islands. It is located approximately 78 km southeast of Arno Its total land area is 14.9 square km making it the second largest of the Marshall Islands after Kwajalein.

This card is from one of my friend who serves overseas as a volunteer like me in Nauru. Small Nauru is also part of Micronesia, but it has no other island to visit. However, I think the lives in Majuro, Marshall Islands would be better than Nauru, so it sometimes makes me so jealous!
