Thailand

Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand, is a country located at the center of the Indochina peninsula in Southeast Asia. The country is a constitutional monarchy, headed by King Rama IX, the ninth king of the House of Chakri. The king of Thailand is titled Head of State, Head of the Armed Forces, Adherent of Buddhism, and Upholder of religions. The capital and largest city is Bangkok, which is Thailand's political, commercial, industrial and cultural hub. About 75% of the population is ethnically Thai, 14% is of Chinese origin, and 3% is ethnically Malay.

The primary religion in Thailand is Buddhism, which is practiced by around 95% of the population. Buddha has said "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." This is a quote about ValueSiddhartha Gautama (Buddha) was a spiritual teacher from the ancient Indian subcontinent and the historical founder of Buddhism.
